The most significant way in which this years Australia's Wine List of the Year Awards will be different from the previous Awards is that the results and successful establishments will be published as part of the August/September 2008 issue of Gourmet Traveller WINE magazine as a must-have reference for wine lovers to maximise their dining experiences nationwide.
Results of the awards will first be announced on 4 August 2008 on this website and will be published in the August/September issue of Gourmet Traveller WINE (on-sale 4 August 2008). Winners will be presented their Awards at a cocktail function on 4 August 2008.
Gourmet Traveller WINE is Australia's leading wine publication, celebrating local and overseas wine scenes. In 2003, 2005 and 2007 it was awarded the prestigious Gold Ladle at the World Food Media Awards for "Best Drink Magazine in the World". Circulation is 23,000 + and it is read by over 70,000 people.
